The second is Glossybox subscription- I enrolled onto this service a few months ago and thus so far have found it a great way to try out new products that I usually would not want to buy.
The Glossybox service was perfect for me as it was both reasonably priced (£10 excl.P&P) and the right amount of products that I would like ( a mixture of skincare, makeup and hair products).
The September edition of the Glossy Box was a special edition picked by the Beauty Director of Red Magazine Annabel Meggesan, hence the Red Box.
A gentle cleanser that aims to be good for all skins types. This has a marshmallow like smell however i found that it did not remove my makeup well. Therefore I will only be using this as the second part to my cleaning routine. This was a travel size.
Glides on smoothly and blends in evenly. As someone who is pretty much a beginner in the world of makeup I found this really easy to use. This was Full Size.
This was a big surprise for me as i am always sceptic of Mascara's and have suffered from allergic reaction to some high end brands. A sample size but nevertheless it literally it is one of the best mascara's that I have tried. It lengths, curls and creates Volume, one coat gives you a lick of lift but for more extra volume just add another application.
As a loyal Seche Vite user, I was not too impressed by this top coat as it started chipping on the second day. I think it is good for someone who is unable to find Seche Vite as great back up. I received the full product which I will most likely pass on to a sibling.
Claiming to providing hydration for upto 120 hours, this is a sheet mask inspiring from Korean beauty technology. The mask which you place on your face and leave for unto 30min has active ingredients of Rose of Jericho. The difference between this mask and other face sheet masks is that it is not made out of cotton material that can slip off your face. This bad boy stays on until moved. I tried this on over the weekend and my skin felt immediately hydrated, soft and no need for moisturising afterwards. A sample size but would be purchasing again soon.
The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask
This was an additional item that i received in my box which i was not expecting - i like surprises. Usually i am not a big fan of Body Shop products since it got taken over by L'Oreal, not sure why but something changed in their ingredients. Nevertheless I gave this mask a chance and it was good the only issue i had was the tiny bits of charcoal. Otherwise my skin felt skin and i had no reaction to the product.
In Conclusion the September Glossy Box was a great one, apart from the Revlon Top Coat I would repurchase all items.
Do any of my readers have any kind of subscription treats that they look forward to?
