But it’s back to business now and I have my monthly Favourite Five to start with.
Most people find running a mundane task and frankly quite boring but I am a firm believer, with the right kind of music it can be thoroughly fulfilling.
Personally I have always favoured running be it indoors on the treadmill or outside, always a perfect way to de-stress. In fact 2 years ago my doctor recommended it.
I became so hooked that I even participated in 10km Cancer Research Run finishing with a time of under an hour last year.
That being said this year I have been running mainly as a warm up before a class- Not Good.
So I have made a little goal for myself to try and push myself to run more.
Below is a view from one of my runs.
Life is all about little surprises and I was pleasantly surprised when I received this lipstick (the boy did well).
I am not a big Dior makeup fan unlike my elder sister who is a little obsessed with their products. However this lipstick was the perfect match to a Dior palette I already have. I have to mention Dior have their packaging game on form.
The colour is a light peachy with a hint of pink but it’s very natural on the lips and very moisturising.
Needless to say it has been a lifesaver to have this at hand for evening outs as its quite glossy for a lipstick.
I love carbs especially when they come from a potatoes.
I mean who does not love a good chip.
So when I came across Angry Fries from the famous New York style burger van Bleecker St I was in chip heaven.
Angry fires (love that name) are crispy hand cut fries smothered in Blue Cheese sauce and a fiery Chilli sauce (being Asian I always as for extra chilli). I am not sure if it is this combination that makes them so mouth-watering or the fact that they are a comforting thing to have while kicking the cold September winds.
The Bleecker St Van is essentially a burger Van (a full blog post will be posted shortly). I however just order the Angry Fries when I visit.
You can find the Van located on the Southbank and they have a stand around Liverpool Street.
Please excuse the picture quality below it does not do any justice.
Everyone has their favourite chocolate, mine happen to be G&B Maya Gold.
I prefer Dark chocolate over Milk and White any day as I find that I eat less of it.
This is the perfect balance of dark chocolate with a hint of spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.
I like it all Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries and Blackberries.
Healthy and full of antioxidants what more could you want.
